Add Muffin Builder to custom post type

Hello,

I created a new custom post type.
How can I add/activate the muffin builder to it?

For the visual composer I have options.
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=vc-general

But for the muffin builder I can't finde anything.

Best regards,
Elec

    Hi Elec,

    because we do not offer code customizations, we can not give you solution of how to do this. But we recommend to have a look on includes/content-single.php file to check how it was made and hope this will help you a lot.

    Thanks for understanding!
  • Ok, that's sad. I will hide the muffin builder for everyone and will use the visual composer.

    Thanks.
  • Hello again,

    I finished a new custom post type with the muffin builder and it works great.
    But it only works in the original path:
    /betheme/functions/meta-cities.php

    And is called in /betheme/functions.php with:

    if( ! isset( $post_types_disable['cities'] ) ){
        require_once( LIBS_DIR .'/meta-cities.php' );
    }

    Is there a way to put the meta-cities.php in the child-theme:
    /betheme-child/functions/meta-cities.php

    And to call it in the betheme-child/functions.php by

    if( ! isset( $post_types_disable['testimonial'] ) ){
        require_once( LIBS_DIR .'/meta-testimonial.php' );
    }

    ???

    Thanks and best regards
  • LIBS_DIR is defined for get_template_directory_uri()

    Perhaps just change the LIBS_DIR to the path to the child-theme?

  • You can try of course, but as we wrote above, we do not offer code modifications and if you decided to play with the code, you need to do it on your own. Thanks!
  • How @elecsander
    Did you work your custom code in your child theme?
    I want to know since soon I'll face with the same problem.
    Thanks
