Has the code changed for mobile menu? how do i make mobile menu text white by default and red on hover, as well as increase size of mobile menu icon/change its color.

Ok, we see where the problem is. It's because of latest version of Jetpack plugin. This was explained on this forum already. More details about that you can read on http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/8510/jetpack-3-7-incompatibility

What workaround you ask for? Did you read the topic we sent above? If not, then please read it. Like we wrote, it's enough to update theme to recent version.
