Individual Header Image per product

Is there a way to make an individul header or subheader image per product? How?

This can be done with custom css only. If you will send us url to example page, we'll show you how this can be done.

But as we see, you deactivated subheader for those kind of pages. So how exactly you want to set this background? Until subheader is off, it won't be possible.

So now, you can use below css to set background images per subheaders:

.postid-xxx #Subheader { background-image: url('PATH-TO-IMAGE') !important; }

where xxx is page ID. And if you want to set 10 different backgrounds for 10 different pages, then you must use above css 10 times with different id's for different pages.

is there a way to do this on the product edit page and not in css? I need my client to be able to have a separate header image for each product? If there is no out of the box way, canhtis be customized, and what would the cost be?

No, this is unfortunately impossible. This can be done with custom css only like we already explained above.
