Hi, I would like to know if you could share a css or php snippet that could help me remove the hyperlink that takes you to the portfolio item url (area marked in red) that occurs when you hover over the portfolio thumbnail?

Hi,

this can be done in theme files only but we do not offer file customization unfortunately. So if you want to edit theme files, you must do this yourself. Or if you don't know how, we recommend to contact with your website developer.

Should I modify the php? If yes, do you know which line it is? Thanks

Yes, you must modify theme files. Are you talking about portfolio page or portfolio items? For items is responsible functions/theme-shortcodes.php file but for portfolio page includes/content-portfolio.php file.
