Difference between betheme.zip and betheme-child.zip

After I purchased and downloaded your theme from Envato, I found these two zip files for Theme installation. What's the difference? Which one should I use? Thanks

Hi,

betheme.zip is the original theme. This is must have for everyone. But child theme is for those who want to customize theme files without editing parent theme. More details about child theme you can read on https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes

If I will just use Theme Option and its CSS code editor, do I need to create Child Theme?

No, you don't need to. Personally, we do not use child themes because it's useless in our opinion.
