Removing thumbnail photo from top of Portfolio pages

  Hi,
  
  as we see, you have maintenance mode activated so we can't have a look on it. But there is 2 reasons why extra content may appear:
  
  1. It's because of your extra plugins.
  
  2. You forgot to set blog as posts page under Settings > Reading section.

  Hi guys - I've since made the website live - you can now see what I am referring to: [Links visible only for registered users]
  Would really appreciate knowing how to remove that thumbnail graphic that appears at the top of each product category page (in this case the thumbnail/smaller photo of the green machinery). Thank you!

  You set this header for Products page and that's why it appear on category pages as well. So do you want to remove this header background from category pages only?

  Thanks for your reply. It's not the blue main background header I want to remove - it's the small graphic that keeps appearing on each product type page - see attached screenshot.

  The page you mentioned above, is portfolio page. The image at the top, comes from the content because you did not set Portfolio page properly. Please look at http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#portfolio where we explained how to set up portfolio page properly.

  Thanks for your assistance - I have now set up product pages as per your link.  One final thing - how do I prevent additional (non related) categories with products appearing below the main display of products? (where it shows you can filter by category etc after the main products display.
  
  See link - [Links visible only for registered users] - I only want the listed 4 products to appear, not additional things underneath.
  
  I have selected "No" for the "Show | Filters" option in Portfolio item setup.

  What page this should be? Portfolio or what? Because you made this page wrong again and that's why items are duplicated. How you created this page exactly? Please explain with screenshots.

  How have I done this incorrectly?
  See [Links visible only for registered users]
   I've followed the steps correctly to create a Portfolio page/listing:
  - created a new page, chosen the portfolio template on the right hand side ([Links visible only for registered users])
  - set up a portfolio item within the page([Links visible only for registered users])
  - And see this screenshot for options chosen for how this particular portfolio displays- [Links visible only for registered users]
  
  What have I done incorrectly here for the additional filters to be displaying below the 4 products? See here for part that I don't want appearing - [Links visible only for registered users]
  
  Understand you receive a heap of stupid questions every day - but I don't think I have carried out the documentation instructions incorrectly. Please advise if anything is not clear. Thank you.

  Step 2 is wrong. Where did we wrote that you should set PORTFOLIO item for portfolio page? Portfolio page should be empty and only "Portfolio" template should be selected. After that, under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Portfolio section you should assign this page as portfolio. That's it. Please notice that you CAN NOT USE portfolio items for portfolio pages. Items are items but pages are pages.
