Search plugin compatibility

Hello,
apparently both "Better Search" and "Relevanssi" do not work as intended. (Possibly since a recent update)

Is this to be expected, could this be improved or is it a problem of my site?

we did never tested those plugins so unfortunately we don't know why they won't work.

I've been trying to fix this issue for weeks... I was so hopeful after reading that you had a fix, unfortunately it does not work for me.
