Hi Betheme,

Can we update BeTheme via
wp-admin? Ex. we enter the license code, and we can update the theme via
WordPress updates. If yes, where can I enter the license code?

Furthermore, how can we update the plugins included in BeTheme (Rev Slider and Visual Composer). Where can we get the license for automatic updates via wp-admin?

Hey,

such option is not possible currently because Envato WordPress toolkit does not work. It's because of Envato change their API and we are waiting when this will be fixed. More details about this issue you can read on https://github.com/envato/envato-wordpress-toolkit/issues/85

Okay, so in order to update my theme, I have to download the updated BeTheme via Themeforest, and manually upload it via FTP?

Yes, exactly. This is what you should to do. However, you can also remove current BeTheme from Appearance > Themes section and upload recent version instead. This is also possible but we strongly recommend to upload any files via FTP because it's the safest way in our opinion.

Given that there have already been two updates to the theme in the week I've owned it, manual download and upload is much less convenient. Any idea when there will be a functioning auto-update?

@rachelcahn Until Envato WordPress Toolkit won't be fixed, auto-updates won't work. And this question should be definitely sent to plugin's author as we do not have any impact on it.
