How to remove Revolution Slider from Handyman Homepage?

  Hi,
  
  to deactivate slider on homepage, please go to edit page, and under "Page options" section is "Revolution Slider" section where you can deactivate slider.

  Thank you! It wasn't showing up because I had deactivated the rev slider plugin, but I found it once I reactivated the plugin and was able to remove it

  I too apologise if I am missing something.  I am trying to remove the rev slider from my homepage and don't seem to be able to.

  
  

  In edit page I have tried deselecting the slider and leaving it blank (-select-) - but it just defaults back to the previous selection (mpphomeSlider) when I hit update.

  
  

  Have also tried to change slide template drop down under rev slider options, but default is the only option.

  @michelleplayoust If you are not able to save settings under "Page options" section you must contact with server admin because max_input_vars variable is limited on your side.

  Hi, ok - my sys administrator has increased max_input_vars so I can now save changes, however I am still unable to remove the slider as per above.

  @michelleplayoust Are you unable to save the option related with revolution slider again or you can do this but nothing change on front-end side? In our opinion you should deactivate all plugins, re-install wordpress and theme because this sounds really weird. And because it's not theme, there must be something else.

  @eloday64 To remove slider from page, for Slider | Revolution Slider option you must set ---Select--- option.

  Hi there, i got the same Problem here, it isn't possible to select "---Select---", the only possibility is "default". What should i do?

  @buntebueffel Sounds like you are unable to save Page options. If that's what you mean, you should have a look at http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/7689/muffin-builder-items-or-page-options-can-not-be-saved-max-input-vars where this has been explained.

  @muffingroup i don't know if i can save , but i haven't the choice to select "---Select---" because theres just "default" that i can choose.

  Sometimes you actually have to create a new slider with the name that Betheme is complaining you don't have...then when you refresh the page, it will come up. THEN you can edit the homepage and you will be able to change it from the one Betheme is looking for to default.  That's annoying, but it works.
