hey

i have been trying for hours but i can not seem to get it right

i want this home only with navigation and fullscreen video, no more, no less.

this is the best i can come up with but you can still see the background image and 2 black bars on the top and bottom which looks like ***

any clues on how todo this?

Hey,

what you got in header, is header background feature. If you don't need it, please activate "Header | Minimalist" option under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Header section.

but this i knew but that means that i disable it for all pages too

Yes, using this option would deactivate header background on all pages. But can you explain what exactly you want to do? Disable header background on home page only or what?
