Any suggestion to modify the transparent header option

I'm using transparent header.

I've tried some trick for making a gradient opacity by using css and .png image behind the logo and menu but in front of content of page (for example an image).
This is what I want to do:

I hope there is a trick for this modification.

please send us url to page where you want to make this gradient in header and we'll see if this is possible.

Please notice that's the only way to set gradient background for the top bar section.
