Revolution Slider Not woking for Journalist

Please tell me how to make this slider work and have all setting work as on the demo. The same problems are being reported over and over and yet I don't see support properly addressing any of those issues. Why not?

I see many problems with trying to get the demo's working why such problems with everything?

Hi,

what exactly does not work properly? Can you give us more details and also provide url to page where you got a problem? We have no idea what "many problems" means.

You have read theme before and didn't properly address but here I will repeat it again for you so this might help me and others when looking for a fix to the problem with this slider for Journalist if you answer with known fixes.

It says "no slides found. Please add at least one slide template to the chosen language".
and under the about us section its blank where a image would appear, I added the two images but I cant get them to resize to the same as side description square when adding images?

Then under articles and stories I cant get the articles to be squares across the entire page as in your demo.

I am sure if you try to recreate with your included slider today from package you would see the same things needing correcting as i see others also have asked about some of these but I don't see answers

Please try to install and correct what does not work and let me know how to fix.

The other many problems are with other sliders set up from your end that don't work with install such as Argo etc if you try to install you would see we are not able to make as your demo neither as it points to not even an argo install.

The problem with Journalist slider was only one and this has been described on http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/8724/i-cant-get-the-demo-slider-part-of-the-journalist-theme

Basically the problem is that after slider import, Post types and Post categories are not set for slider. The problem is related with slider import on what we do not have any impact. You can see those settings on the following screenshot http://pasteboard.co/1fdXe7lx.png - and that is the only known problem. Your explanation does not address this issue at all and instead you are writing about something else. Maybe the problem is related with none existing slider? Maybe you missed the steps from the following topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/15/how-to-import-revolution-slider-into-be-theme where we explained how to properly import sliders that comes with demo? Because if you will follow those 2 steps, you will get exactly the same slider as we got on our Be|Journalist demo.

Well I did get the slider to show the one image on the main page but again as others have told YOU they and I have other issues that you are very aware of like getting the post to show on the right hand side of this slider. How to I get that to work as others have asked too so its not just my side. I would also recommend as others have asked you also to make files for known issues attached to a file would be very good for you and paid people to save us both time as we could read those files and fix without all the back and forth.

Instead of telling me about no other issues with this I did get most fixed myself but they sure are not setup out of the box with a simple one click install but in any event I did ask you for help with a few and you just ignored them.

Please when people ask you for help on issues take them one by one if you would and help with the requested not just parts forcing me and others to ask again and again.

When you know other are having the same issues I see that you kept on asking from your post for access like it one side or no known issues but why then are we all having the same questions ask of you?

Again how can I get the demo of this to show the same with the posts on the right to show? Have you figured out that problem yet?

Hey, I sure would have been nice for you to tell me the two things that I had to change correctly the first time but you didn't and are aware from your reply that I would have to again ask as it would not work with what you said. I did find how to make it work from reading several posts.

Please make an area under the homepages that would tell others how to fix things in subs as sliders to make it so much easier that could be searched or updated.

YES, we figured it out and we explained it above. After slider import, Post types and Post categories are not set for slider and you should set them manually like we presented on the following screenshot http://pasteboard.co/1fdXe7lx.png

That's all we found and after setting those settings, POSTS ON THE RIGHT display. This works on our side and on other customer's side as well. But if above solution, does not work for you, then you must send us private message with access to your dashboard so we can have a look on it. We'll import our slider once again and set above settings to proof that it works. And please notice that it's not our fault that revolution slider is not importing all settings. This should be fixed by plugin's author. However, we got lesson for future that we shouldn't make such complicated and good looking sliders never again.

Hi, see after all that you keep blaming the slider. Its the one other step you don't show or mention that causes more problems and further questions for people, so its some steps are over looked maybe from your end.

I have found the OTHER steps needs to make this work so thank you but like mentioned earlier if you take the time to help with one problem and post the work around in a file or fix the file then it would be very good for everybody but all settings need to be set in this and other sliders and settings throughout as it takes a very long time for us to try to recreate almost every demo to make them work.

You have made awesome pages so keep up the good work its the whole reason people buy them.

Yes, we are blaming slider import and would be blaming it because it's true. If you don't believe, just export this slider to own file, and try to import in another place and you will see that some settings won't be imported. So you should understand that this is not our fault that slider import does not work properly because we are not plugin's author. So if additional settings that we described above were not helpful, then maybe you can explain what else you did? We are wondering what else has been missed. Just saying that "you found other steps needs to make this work" does not bring anything to this discussion so we appreciate if you can explain what other steps you found because like we wrote above, we did tested slider import and setting Post types and Post categories helps to complete the slider.

Dear Muffin Group,

Happy to have your wonderful theme, thanks alot.
I just want to ask that, why my be journalist slider,
after i import and chose the post category for hot news,
but i found that the text on the right side is invisible to see,
but there is link there, cause i could click it with my mouse,
but the color is invisible.
Please advice, maybe i need to change some options on color?

No need anymore, i have notice from another user, it this because of the HEBE style in tabs in navigation section on the slider settings. Thanks alot, awesome theme.
