Sticky menu doesn't work properly in the IE

Hello,

at the beginning I would like to thank you for your great work with BEtheme. The possibilities are really endless and I'm still exploring all the parts of your theme.

The main reason why I bought your theme is for very nice demo - CAFE.

Everything works fine except the sticky menu in the Internet Explorer. The sticky menu is horizontally divided. The upper side is transparent and the bottom side is alright but basically it isn't applicable. You can see this problem in you demo page as well.

I forbade the sticky menu for now but I would like to repair this issue. Can you help me please?

which IE version you mean? Please also attach screenshot of how this looks like on your side.

Hi,

I have IE 11 but I have tried this demo page also on the older version of IE and it's the same.

My site is under construction so I provide the screenshot from your theme demo page. The issue is the same.

Thanks for the explanation. You're definitely right about this sticky menu behavior in IE11. We found where the problem is and below css should do the trick

#Header_wrapper { z-index: 21; }

I put this in my 'custom css' area and the sticky menu does not work at all in IE11

@proteustech Make sure that you don't have any other extra css's because this could be the reason why above css does not work.

I do have extra CSS-- is there somewhere else I would put that 'extra' CSS? For some reason I found that when using the child theme, some of the CSS would work only in the custom CSS area and not in the childtheme.

@proteustech If you use child theme, then you can put css's into style.css file because that's the only css file child theme work with. For more details about Child Theme please visit https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
