Edits saving to wrong section within muffin builder

Hi all,

I am having a new issue with muffin builder that I have not had on this site before.

Details are betheme version:
Wordpress version: 4.4–en_GB

The error:

Whenever I use the editor to make changes to a page it automatically overwrites any blank fields in previous "items" above.

e.g. if a page has 3 x "column" items and "column 1" has no title and no text alignment set, the the settings from "column 2" will be pushed up and replace the empty values of "column 1" it will also leave "column 2" values empty.

This will happen for any empty settings.

I have ensured that everything is on the latest version? can anyone advise if this is a known issue?
