So basically you mean to change from current http://schema.org/Article to http://schema.org/Blog on single post pages, right? Few months ago, we had the BLOG but people were asking to change from blog to article. Sorry but we completely don't get it.
Where did you changed this? Because this can be controlled under functions/theme-functions.php file. This is the only place where you can change work Article with Blog. Please notice that we can not change this in theme itself because in the past, when we had BLOG set, people were requesting that this is a bug and should be Article instead.
