BeTheme | Firm theme background image not extending

The first image below is from your website on a mobile device and the second is from mine. Notice in both that the background image does not extend below the "see the details" button like it does when the theme is viewed in a desktop browser. This is even more visible in the image from my website presumably because the login bar at the top of the screen is visible. What can I do to cause the background image to extend to below the button like in the desktop version?

Hey,

these are background images only and they are just not tall enough and that's why the button is out of the background. If you want you can switch those backgrounds on mobile devices under Theme options > Responsive section or just upload taller background.

Thank you for the tip so I followed your advice and uploaded a test image that is twice the size of the current one. However, I still see the same results as depicted in the image above. To ensure that I was not dealing with an old cached image I used a completely different one during my test.

If that's true, please send us link to your site where you uploaded taller image so we can have a look on it.

Yes, but like we said, the background should be taller, not wider. You just changed proportions and that's why nothing changed. Please leave the width the same as was previously and just increase it's height. However, if this won't help, then please send us private message with dashboard access so we can have a look on it closer and sort it on our side.

I totally misunderstood about the image sizing but got it now. However, at Theme Options -> Responsive I do not see a setting to enable a different background image that will be displayed only on responsive devices.

Don't you see Section Background Image option where you can choose if you want to display background images on desktop only or on all kind of devices? If you don't see it, means you have old theme version.

I see that under Theme Options -> Global -> General but your comments above referenced Theme Options -> Responsive as a way to select a different image to be displayed on mobile devices.

So you are saying that you have Section Background Image option under Theme options > Global > General version, right? Maybe you have old theme version then?

Under Theme Options > Global > General I have a section called Background and under that section there is an option for Image. My theme version is 11.5 by the way. I am open to a CSS solution to change the background on mobile devices if there is no option to enable this.

You are talking about different option. This is kind of background for boxed layouts. This background is set out of the box when site is boxed. So you are talking about something else. Anyway, like we said above, to do not display section`s backgrounds, you need to choose an option to display backgrounds on desktop only under Theme options > Responsive section with Section Background Image option. That's the only solution we got because there is no workaround to do it with custom css.
