background colors not right in Explorer

On chrome and firefox, it is fine, but on explorer, the page background is light grey instead of white.

Compare in chrome / firefox against explorer and you will see what I am referring to.

Is there something I can do to fix this?

Ok, we did checked above site and found that background is the same in Chrome, FF and IE. Under all of them is light grey what you can see on http://pasteboard.co/17QSrH5p.png - so it's not white as you stated above.

Yes it's slightly off white, but in IE it's a darker color, so the white backgrounds of jpeg images show up more severely in IE.

I could of course just change the images to png's, but that increases file size of the images.

So my preference would be to get all browsers to render the site background colors the same. How can we do this?

Like we already said above, we do not see any difference and we can not re-create this issue on our side what means that this problem is somewhere else. What we can give you is custom css to change it's background but if this won't change anything, we do not have any workaround.

I'll try that. I could also just use png's as needed so there is no image background to contrast against the page background.

Yes, you can of course use images instead.
