EDIT MENU BACKGROUND COLOUR

I have tried to edit the background colour of the menu to no avail. All documentation and searches for info points me in same direction BE THEME OPTIONS > COLORS > MENU AND ACTION BAR. For the theme I'm using (Blogger 2) changing colours here seems to only affect the font/link colours and I'm unsure how to edit the background colour as doing so from here doesn't change anything?

Ok. So to change it's color, you need to go to Theme options > Colors > Header section and change from white to own color. Or if you prefer, you can change it with the following css as well:

#Header .top_bar_left, .header-classic #Top_bar, .header-stack #Top_bar, .header-fixed #Top_bar, .header-below #Top_bar, #Header_creative, #Top_bar #menu { background: #333 !important; }

The bit through the admin side doesn't seem to update the colours?

Which specifically for future ref? I wish to invert so making bg dark and text light. For now I will edit CSS

If you are unable to change colors thru Muffin Options panel, there is few reasons why this might happen:

- cache
- you don't have Custom skin selected
- one of your plugins is the reason
