Remove/disable header Logo, also Logo appears different in Safari and Firefox

I was wondering how to completely remove the logo from the top left of the website? while I was trying to get rid of it I tried uploading my own, but it only shows up in Firefox, in Safari it still shows the betheme logo.

to remove the logo completely, you need to use extra css:
#Top_bar .logo { display: none !important; }
