Site Speed

Hi,

First of all, I love the theme. My problem is with the speed as I find it real slow. The back and front endAlthough your own demo is quite fast, I cannot seem to achieve the same with my site. My site is hosted on a share server at HostGator. What would you recommend to add more speed to my site?

Is there a way to know what are your server's specs? Which host do you recommend? Would having a dedicated server help? CloudHosting, VPS? Do you use any plugins? Any help would be more than welcomed

Hi Alain,

we should start from setting up cache plugin like W3 Total Cache.

I have the same problem too.

I solve the issue deactivating all the plugins and found that the problem was with Visual Composer.
Deactivate and Activate again and solved.

Thanks for the info Blooddarkness, I'll give it a try.

But it would be useful to know what kind of server muffingroup uses to host their demo. I can see they recommend HostGator VPS Hosting. That would be a lot faster that Shared Hosting, I imagine. I installed the W3 Total Cache and frankly, not that much improvement. So a bit more specification from muffingroup would really be helpful as I really like the BeTheme but the speed just ain't happening right now.

We host our demos on OVH but we are using dedicated servers for which are responsible admins. We are not server experts so we do not touch them.

Thanks. I cannot afford dedicated server, right now, but I will look into OVH VPS offers. I have heard good things about them

Each year they become better and better. So far we are happy with their servers.
