Best way to add images to be able to redirect media attachment pages?

I am using betheme on my site alongside Yoast plugin. I know that you can use Yoast Seo to redirect attachment pages for images to the original post but it does not seem to work for me, possibly because my images I have added manually using columns in the builder rather than using image shortcode,
What I want to know is, is what is the best way to add images to pages in betheme so that they they are recognised the same way as if you use the wordpress add media option - so that I can redirect the image to the parent post. At the moment I have a lot of attachment pages being indexed and this is not great for seo!

to be honest, we do have anything like that and we don't know what would be the best way to do what you ask for.
