Demo Data access in Visual Editor

Hi.

I am having an issue with being able to edit the demo data I installed.

I did a clean install of BeTheme, went to the Demo Data installation and installed "Firm".

All the pages look great, but I can not edit the demo data at all.  When I load the Visual Editor, I can see all of the content, but the page builder will not allow me to change anything.  All I can do is add new content to the page.

This is not good as I want to use those pages and just make changes to the existing content it installed.

Am I missing something here?

    Hi,

    pre-made layouts were made with Muffin Builder tool and only with this tool can be edited. Muffin Builder is available for each page just under "Page Options" section.

    I would say that this is very relevant *pre-sales* information. I for one selected this theme specifically because of the inclusion of Visual Composer and assumed that premade designs could be edited with this plugin. Sorry to say this, but Muffin Builder is not nearly as user friendly as Visual Composer, and editing some of the templates in Muffin Builder even brings up what appears to be html in a WYSIWYG editor. Not elegant!

    We can not agree with your unfortunately because over 90% of our customers are choosing our product because of the Muffin Builder which is much easier in use for them, faster and definitely lighter. If you want to use VC, then you should build pages from scratch.

    I have to agree with egoria.

    Having been in website design for many, many years, having the visual editor is a real blessing to work with and do so very cool designs.  Working in the Muffin Builder, while I guess is better than just writing code, it is a bit cryptic and not something a new user would find easy to just start using...

    Being able to see what you design looks like, spacing of elements and positions on the page is very important..... I can not do that in the Muffin Builder.

    Egoria makes a point that in the sales page for the theme, it should be stated very clearly that the templates are ONLY for the Muffin Builder that is not a Live Visual Editor...

    That being said, I really like this theme.... I can build pages very fast with the visual Page Builder..... Maybe all that is is the Visual Editor plugin and if so, cool... I don't care.
