How to remove demo data?

Is it possible to clear theme out of demo data? I´d like to change pre-made layout to other. I am searching this forum for hours but nothing like that I haven´t found. I would appreciate some procedure of it. Maybe I would find correct folders on FTP, but I am affraid of insufficient clearing of database. Thank you.

Hi,

yes, you can do it with WP Reset plugin only but please remember that this plugin will clear your WP completely. All posts, pages, etc will be removed and your WP will be as clear as just after fresh installation.

And more sophisticated solution?

I am testing your Be Theme on localhost multisite and I have created about 10 sites on subdomains. For example localhost.site (main), coach.localhost,site, baker.localhost,site, vet.localhost,site, ... But unfortunately import of demo data works for main domain only. There is an error after importing to subdomain.

WordPress function wp_remote_get() test failed. Looks like your server is not fully compatible with WordPress. Contact your hosting provider.
Error: \wp-content\themes\betheme\functions\importer\import.php on line 491

Therefore I have to test all demo pre-made layouts at one main domain. But I don´t want to start from zero after every demo reset. Pls. tell me what folders and sql tables I have to manually remove before importing the other demo.

Or advice me, pls., how to import demo to subdomain without the error. It would be better solution for me. But knowing of manually removing of demo data would be usefull skill for me too.

More sophisticated solution is to check all all options/sections and remove the elements that has been imported manually. Except that, we do not have any other solution.

Above errors means that your server is incompatible with default wp function and in this case, you need to contact with your admin or you can try to import demo despite this warning and then try to import settings manually.

OK, I will try it. But some demo layouts have so many menu items ... Do you know any plugin for mass deleting of Menu items?

My admin is me, I am working on XAMPP localhost :-)

I can´t import demo despite this warning because there is only warning message on the import page. No pulldown menu, no import button (see screenshot).

I found out it doesn´t work for multisite to subdomain only. But it works for multisite to subdirectory. Any idea why? Unfortunately I need subdomain alternative.

Sorry but like we wrote above, except what we wrote already, we do not have any other work around and also we don't know any plugin for mass deleting menu items.

What exactly does not work? We don't get it.

Import of demo data to XAMPP localhost multisite for subdomain does not work.

Only import of demo data to XAMPP localhost multisite for main domailn works. That means, if I want to test more of your demo layouts on this 1 main local domain, I have to clear previous demo data manualy. And some of your demo has a great many of menu items (60 e.g.). Too many for manualy deleting one by one,
