Jump links / using Custom ID

Hi,

I'm trying to create jump link sections of my website pages using custom ID.

I have been following the information here: REMOVED

However I can not get them to work.

Using Client Testimonials as a test, I have made a custom link on the main navigation under About us ("Client testimonials") and entered #testimonials into the Custom ID on the relevant section within my About Us page.

However, the link is not responding and remains at the top of the About Us page.

Hi,

can you tell us where from you get this link? It's fake doc and does not belong to us. The only documentation is http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#menu and the same one is included into documentation. This is the only documentation you should follow up.

The link came up when I used google to search the problem that I'm experiencing.

I'm still struggling to resolve this problem though, do you have any suggestions?

We have no idea how you get this link but on any keywords related with betheme+documentation, our doc is on 1st place. Next time we suggest to check product's pages and the description where all necessary links to such places like doc are included.

In reference to your question, if you read the link we sent you above, can you explain what exactly is not clear and where you still got the problem? Above link should explain everything.

Hi,

Here is an example.

I have made a custom dropdown menu like this:

All the content for 'services' is on one page, so when 'services' is clicked, all the content is shown.

When something from the dropdown menu is selected, I want the selection to jump down to the relevant part of the page.

So if 'Traditional stockbroking' is selected, I am trying to use the Custom ID to jump down to the relevant division on the page.

I have tried to set up the custom ID for the division in these ways:

and entered the # into the relevant Menu section:

However, when the 'traditional stockbroking' link on the dropdown menu is selected, the page doesn't jump to the relevant section, it remains at the top of 'services'.

You can not use any # or . sings for classes or ID's. Name means it's just name! So in this case, ID should be traditional only. For more details about one page, we suggest to have a look into doc http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#menu

P.S. If you don't understand how classes or ID's works, we suggest to read some articles in the web as well.
