Display magnifying icon in search placeholder instead of default "search" text placeholder

Could you please help me in how to change my search widget to display a maginifying in its placeholder instead of the Search text in BeTheme. I've tried some ways with no success.

Got it editing searchform.php and adding manually font-awesome to the site header. thanks.

you can change search style under Theme options > Header & Suheader > Extras section.
