How do I remove the image border in the NOTEBOOK theme?

Im using the NOTEBOOK theme and I like everything except that it borders the images. Is it somehow possible to get around this?

To remove those borders, you need to use the following css:

.image_frame, .wp-caption { border: 0 !important; }
.image_frame .image_wrapper .mask, .edd_download_image::after { box-shadow: 0 0 0 0 !important; }

There is only one section reserved for global css's - it's Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section.
