Hi,
It's not the code but just ID. You supposed to paste GA code instead.

well i have put the right is the code as I wished. I wanted to put the Tracking ID code which I did. Pls look here you see in the screen dupm yourself

so once more WHY does your theme show it on the actual website - can yo help
the Tracking ID is good enough for me if your answer NO i can nnou sue this there - then where do put this in your theme then?

We do not have option to put just tracking ID. Instead, you need to put whole GA's javascript code under Theme options > SEO section where Google Analytics field is.
