How can I display the caption on featured images of blogposts oder portfolios?

Hi,

is there any way to display the caption I gave to images when they're chosen for an blogpost or on portfolio single pages? This would be very helpful by doing everything you have to in case of foto credits...

As you see here, I would like to display the (c) PANTONE Color Institute under the featured image...

Hi,

as I've read in this article it could be possible to get the displaying of the caption by adding some code in the child-theme. But I don't know which php file of the parent theme is the right one. Can you imagine which one?

As already said, in germany and many other countries it is very important to display credits of for example stock fotos. If not doing this, you'll have to pay a fine...

Just like you wrote, this requires files customization what in reference to Item Support Policy is not allowed. So if you want to modify files and don't know how, you should contact with your web developer.
