Client link opens always in a new window

Hello, on our new homepage I want to use the clients option to display the logo's of our customers. However, the clients link always opens in a new window. For most clients I want it to link to an internal page in the same window. I tried using _self, but that does not work. Any suggestions, work around, fix?

where did you set this _self attribute exactly? Please explain. Would be great if you can show us on screenshot how exactly you did it.

We asked you about that, because we do not have any option to do not open client's items in the same window and what you ask for, requires files customization. What you can try do is set target="" empty and check if this would help. Otherwise, without files customization it won't be possible.

The target="" does not work either. Can you tell me where to customize which file? I will change it manually, and remember to change it with each update.

It would be a great addition if you can select for each link if it needs to open in the same or new window. I would expect that in every place you can add a link. Can you include it in the next update?

For all items/shortcodes is responsible functions/theme-shortcodes.php file.
