Is there a way to create a horizontal footer menu, for example found at https://www.basf.com?

The footer menu must mirror the main menu except one sub-sub item.

    For that, you can use Text widget with custom link code inside. This is how you can do it.

    I would like to add a footer menu mirroring the main menu. Something like this

    I tried to follow this video, but the theme crashed when I added the function to the child theme:

    We are sorry but we do not have any built-in feature that might create menu items with their sub-menu positions. To do this, you need to use Text widget like we wrote above with custom html code inside. For that you can try to use ul, li html tags.
