you can change their colors with the following css:

#Top_bar a#search_button { color: #000 !important; }
#Top_bar a#header_cart { color: #000 !important; }

Set the main theme color.

What do you mean? Do you mean the counter?
This addapts to the theme color set in theme options>colors>content.
