Major SEO issue

Hello. The SEO problem I am talking about is that the homepage of my site (http://tappogkork.no/) will not show up as the first search result for my site when I search for "tapp og kork". The first result is this page http://tappogkork.no/om-oss/. The meta title for the homepage does not show correctly in Google, and I have both tried the muffin SEO fields and Yoast. I have never experienced anything like this before, and there is clearly something wrong here.
Do you have any idea what this is?

    Hi,

    theme does not have any impact on which page display first in google search results. In this case, you need to contact with person who is responsible for your SEO.

    I know that, but your theme is not giving the right information about meta description and title to Google. That makes it impossible to work with SEO.

    I am responsible for the SEO, and I have never had problems like with this theme before.

    To be honest we did never met with anything like that before and we have no idea what might be the problem at all. We suggest you to contact with Google team and ask them what might be the reason.

    You may want to consider a FREE SEO plugin.  We prefer All-In-One SEO and install it by default on all our sites.  Earlier this year, we switched our base theme over to BeTheme, and both seem to work very well together.
