which template?

I'm using the events calendar by modern tribe. Now i'd like to add the betheme style as seen in ex. besurfin theme: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/surfing/our-company/
Which template is used for that? Then i can adjust the event-style so it shows:
- the featured image as fullwidth background image;
- the title over the featured image.

1) Featured Image is an option available on the right side while you edit/create page.
2) This title is subheader. All it's options you can find under Theme options > Header & Subheader > Subheader section.
Yet i'd like to add it to a page-template - for my events. So that when you choose a featured image it shows on top, with the event-title over it.
Or isn't this in a page-template somehow/where?

I've created my own template which injects the featured image as header-background-image + title.

it's been a while and in the end we didn't use it anymore. So i can't recall exacty.
