How can i add a footer to my site?

The only option i could find is to add HTML code within the Copyright section of the footer under the theme options.

Hi,

what means "proper" footer? Do you mean to set widgets in footer or what? Because as we can see, you have copyrights section already.

How can i add more stuff to the footer? for example i want to add some logos, icons, etc...

Do you mean copyright section or widgets? If you mean widgets, then you can do this under Appearance > Widgets section but if you mean copyright section, you need to play with footer.php file then.
