Site Migration and URL Renaming

I need guidance on website migration using the BeTheme with the migration and plugin tools available.

Apparently the following plugins do not work with the renaming of BETHEME / Muffinbuilder themes.

When rebuilding an existing site in a temp directory using the BeTheme, once it is complete I want to migrate the site / change the URL name form the temporary one used during the building of the site to the new live URL.

When attempting the normal renaming of URL's to what they should be I get errors when doing it manually without a plugin.

How does one do this with your theme. Thanks.

Hi,

while site migration, we always use 2 plugins and did never had any problems with content or settings migration. Those plugins are: WP Migrate DB and Mfn CB Migration Tool.

Thanks, we employed someone to do this for us and he said it worked perfectly. Do you however have documentation on exactly how to do it please? Thank you very much.

No, we do not have any documentation for that. All details about plugin you can find on plugin's page but in reference to Mfn CB Migration Tool there is nothing to explain. There is 2 fields: OLD URL and NEW URL. You need to type old and new urls and click Replace. That's whole instructions.
