  Hi,
  
  we suggest to use W3 Total Cache plugin. And we can not agree with you about page speed because if you look at https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/9cmmw/http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/ you see that loading time is about 1 second. Please notice that machine on which your site is has a huge impact on how site is loading.

  I have also a speed problem for loading my page http://textfreund.ch.
  
  As you suggested I installed W3 Total Cache, but the loading speed is still unsatisfying particularly when considering that the site is mainly only very few text.

  "Grade F: Remove query strings from static resources.Resources with a "?" in the URL are not cached by some proxy caching
  servers. Remove the query string and encode the parameters into the

  @yuezuden2 You can try to use our W3 Total Cache settings but please remember that is something wouldn't work as you expect, you should contact with your web developer or admin as this plugin need to be set in accordance to server settings.

  My site is also loading extraordinarily slow. http://inhousecreative.org. Using firebug, I see that several tasks are taking forever.   It hangs forever on fonts.googleapis.com. I'm not even using google fonts, just Arial. Why is it loading fonts not used?

  @timfurnish We checked your site and it's loading about 2 seconds what is a very good result what you can see on https://tools.pingdom.com/#!/yGLL1/http://inhousecreative.org/
  
  We also checked this Raleway font and it comes with Slider Revolution what means it doesn't come with BeTheme itself.

  W3 Total Cache was not helpful for me, but I managed my issue with the query strings with the plugin https://srd.wordpress.org/plugins/remove-query-strings-from-static-resources/.
