Counter will not accept a comma figure ( , )

On our counter, we wish for the number to be displayed as "76,032". But the shortcode will not accept the comma figure. When I place the comma in the shortcode box, the counter displays as "NaN". But my client really wants a comma to be in the number as it currently looks weird to be displayed as "76032". How can we fix this??

We are really sorry but it is unfortunately impossible. For counter items we use javascript code for counting which does not allow any special characters.

This is not a solution for us. With our counter code it won't work. If you wan to use this solution, then you must look for another counter and you need to re-build theme files as well.
