Code being changed automatically in Muffin Builder

Hi, I am spending 3 times as long developing this site having to "repair" what your theme or Visual Composer or Muffin Builder keeps breaking. I am SICK of it. I'm working in code view all the time and my code gets stripped out or characters get substituted.  Now the &param in all these long URLS (it is an A-Z list, so this is just a sample) are being automatically changed to the character for paragraph plus m. This is within Muffin Builder tabs. I need you to tell me how I can stop this unwanted behavior.

    Ok guys, I did solve the problem using Global Content Blocks plugin. Can put all code I don't want changed into that, then use a shortcode in Muffin Builder. Still, don't approve of the idea of a tool changing my code!
