Translation questions

Hello,

Some questions concerning translations:


If i don´t want to use the BeTheme built-in translator, do I have to add the respective .po and .mo file into the /wp-content/themes/betheme/languages/ folder or do I have to add them to the /wp-content/themes/ folder?


What happens to self created or self adjusted .po and .mo files for concrete languages in case of a BeTheme update?


Do the BeTheme .mo files overrule the Wordpress .mo files (if they have the same filename and the same msgid is used)?


What is the source of the BeTheme built-in translator? Do the entries of "Design / BeTheme Options / Translate" derive from the /wp-content/themes/betheme/languages/ folder or are they stored in the database and are they depending on the version of BeTheme?
