Revolution slider wont save my latest changes and publish them to my homepage.

edited February 2016 in Revolution Slider
I set it to 3 slides, and it shows them all perfectly the way I want in the editor. But on my homepage I cannot slide though them all only one appears and it's an older version of a slide that I just updated and tried to save in the slider revolution options in wordpress.

  • Hi,

you did something wrong inside slider and that's why it does not work. Theme has nothing to the issue you did.
  • Hi Scaasic, I have the same issue. It started a few months back as well. The changes did eventually show up but I've yet to tell just how long it takes because after babysitting the site for a couple of hours I gave up. LOL!

However, I think the issue is Chrome if you use it as your primary browser on the computer you're working on. I literally just updated my client's site and the changes haven't showed yet in Chrome (it's been about 30 minutes). This is after several hard refreshes of the browser too. But when I go to the page using MS Edge (on the same PC) it's there. If I use Chrome from my other computer (i.e. the one I didn't do the updates from) it shows up too.

Late last year there was some kind of Chrome update that caused my entire WP dash to display in the fonts I used for the client's site. This is tough because it's Open Sans and hard to read, and I've yet to find a way to get Chrome to stop loading the site's Google fonts as the display font. If I use MS Edge on this same computer the font override isn't an issue.

Long story short, I doubt you did anything wrong but it's really not the theme either...sounds like Chrome. Hope this helps!
