I am having issues with the theme....Every time I save a page or post, the browser jumps to the home page instead of the page edited. I was hoping if I deactivated some plugins it may help...

Could you please LIST ALL of plugins required for Be/Be Demo themes?

Hi,

please make sure that your hosting is out of a limits. All of them you can check under Appearance > System Status section.

I just checked the system status...

This is the only item that is in the RED:

1000 - Max input vars limitation will truncate POST data such as menus.

Does this affect the admin and editing of the theme pages? What can I do to fix it?

And this is probably the reason. What you need to do is contact with your admin because max_input_vars need to be increase on server side. After a few days...I have noticed that the issue still remains. When I turn off the theme and use another theme, I don't have the same issues.

Is there anything else I can do? Can I set the max vars higher...will a higher setting affect anything else?

Yes, you must set max_input_vars definitely higher (10000 for example) and this would do the trick.
