Hi,

I'm getting this error while creating new pages...

Permalinks are fine and I have also deactivated few plugins to check whether they caused the problem. The root cause seems to be BeTheme, IMHO.

Any ideas?

    Hi,

    you are definitely wrong with your conjectures because it's not BeTheme for sure. We suggest to start from checking Appearance > System Status for any limits on server side. Please also make sure, that your PHP version is minimum 5.6

    Appearance > System Status  --> I have no limits
    PHP version is also fine.

    If I create a page with a parent Page, it works fine. However, if I create a page without parent page, it gives me a 404.

    Update: the culprit was a plugin.

    To test it:

    - I changed current BeTheme to default theme and problem still persisted
    - Deactivate all plugins: problem gone.
