LayerSlider does not appear on tablet.

Hi,

I'm really happy with the theme.
I only have one problem on my website.
My LayerSlider won't show on a tablet.

I didn't turn on the hide on devices in the responsive options.
(I did for smartphones but when turned "on" for smartphones it still doesn't show, see page: http://brightcircle.be/autoruit-repareren/)
I also tried both 'inherit for smaller' and 'no offset' for tablet but that didn't work either.
I used the Layerslider in the Visual Composer because in "the Muffin part" the top was cut off.
(but when turned on in "the muffin part" it still didn't appear on tablet)

Could you guys please have a look at it?

Thx in advance!

Greets Thomas

  • Hi Thomas,

Please send us dashboard access privately thru contact form which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact and we will check what might be the reason. Please don’t forget to attach link to current topic so we know what for the access is.
  • Hi,

Can you please let me know (here) if/when you guys have found a solution?

    Thx in advance!

  • You did the mistake in VC and it has nothing to theme or even plugins. We sent you more details yesterday privately at 3:49PM so we suggest to check the inbox.
  • Hi,

I haven't received any messages in the inbox from this forum.
Could you please send it again or explain the problem over here?

    Thx in advance!
  • Already did it once again.
  • Yes i set the responsive options on 'hide on device (SMARTPHONE). Because i don't want the slider to appear on smartphones (because then the slider is too small). But I want it to appear on a TABLET and it does not appear on a tablet (which is not a smartphone). It's not a mistake... Why is my slider not appearing on a tablet?
  • Yes, the mistake was made on your end and we presented in on the screenshot in private message that we sent you. Did you even read the message we sent or not? We need to paste it here so everyone can see it because looks like you ignored the message we sent http://pasteboard.co/bnyMJy3wS.png
  • YES I saw the message and saw the picture u send me. Have you even read my question? TABLET not SMARTPHONE...
  • Yes, we read it and the mistake you did concerns tablets as well. It concerns both. When we disable this option, this is how it looks like on TABLET http://pasteboard.co/bDzBddICP.png
  • In the responsive options the two options above the one i selected (smartphone) are for tablets. I did not select hide on tablet (those two above the smartphone). I know that if you resize the screen on a computer u get to see the LayerSlider. On my Ipad Air 2 the slider does not appear. That is the problem. And that is the reason why I asked this question. It is weird that it does act how it should, when you resize on a computer/laptop screen, but not on the actual tablet. This is not the first time I use Visual Composer. I always use it... I know Visual Composer very well. So please stop saying this is my fault.
  • We are sorry but we can not agree with you unfortunately. Did you deactivated the option we presented on the screenshot above? If you did, does slider appear on tablet? And if it's not your fault, the more it is not our fault as we do not have any impact on how Layer Slider appears in Visual Composer.
  • I don't want my slider to appear on a smartphone. Yeeeez
I want my slider on computer, laptop and tablet but not on a smartphone. The deactivated part is the part for smartphone. Those above it are for 1. computer/laptop and 2. Tablet horizontal 3. Tablet vertical (4. smartphone)

    Thx for wasting my time!

  • Like we wrote above, it's not our fault so we would be very grateful if you can do not blame us for something on what we have no impact. Just as we wrote above, the VC option responsible for smartphones is responsible for the tablets as well (yes, we tested it on your site and when we turned this option off slider appeared on tablet what means it's related with Visual Composer plugin only). So we are sorry but it's VC plugin so if it shouldn't work like that in your opinion, you should report it to plugin's author.

P.S. There is no need for being rude because so far we spent a lot of time on something what is completely unrelated to theme. And if you would like to know what is included into support, we suggest to read Item Support Policy so you can understand that what we did to help you, is not included into support.
  • Me rude? I had to explain myself and my problem 5 times. You guys started by saying that it's MY fault that it didn't work. And didn't want to look any further than just saying that it was my fault. I did get 1 email and you had to say that you did send it "once again". The email I received was in the mailbox of my partner at work. He is the one who registered. So that is why it was faster to communicate over here. So that I didn't have to ask him all the time if you guys responded yet...
  • You should change the e-mail of TF's account then if you want to get our messages directly. Please understand that it's not our fault that you have different e-mail set for Themeforest's account than you really use. Thanks!
  • Wow that's your "answer"... And I am rude?
  • Sorry but we don't understand. What is exactly "rude" in our answer? Sorry, but we don't understand it. We thought that we explained everything but looks like something is still not clear.
