wider margins for pages like this

Hi, for a page that is a long list of databases with descriptions

http://wordpressforlibraries.com/databases-a-z/

Can I widen the margins just for the page without losing responsiveness? I could put the whole thing inside of a fixed width table but I think that would make it not responsive anymore. Any recommendations?

Perhaps I can add a blank sidebar on that page? Will give that a try.

I created a sidebar called "blank sidebar" to format the page so there isn't text stretching the full layout (which is hard to read). I can't get the sidebar to show up even though I select the layout for left sidebar and select "blank sidebar" from the drop down list. Only the sidebar from the front page shows up. Can you help? Is this a bug? You have my credentials which I sent through private message. Feel free to try it yourself. Seems to be a bug. I want this for http://wordpressforlibraries.com/databases-by-subject/ and for http://wordpressforlibraries.com/databases-a-z/.
