everything was erased but I have a backup, but its not working

So we had a malware attack and the main domain of our website is missing, i had donde a backup of my theme last week which is a XML file, how Can I restore all hte configurations i made?

    Hi,

    you need to contact with your admin/hosting provider if you want to make a full backup. Or if they don't have it, then you need to import .xml file you have with Wordpress Importer tool.

    I tried to do it with the importer tool, but its not working, does this xml backup have all the changes I've made and customizations?

    Cna you guide me trheough the process?, should i install the theme before or after the xml import?

    This file supposed to have all necessary information but because we didn't made this file, we have no idea if it's fine or not. The whole process is very simple. Before file import, you need to install BeTheme of course. And after that, go to Tools > Import section and upload file. This is how whole process looks like.
