Demo Data files not uploading

Tried several times with several different demos; used to get a message that all was good, but now nothing; white-screen-nothingness.  What's the problem?

  • Hi,

where do you have this "white screen"?
  • thanks for the response!  sorry for the late reply.  my site host figured it out and now the upload demo feature is functional again.  :)
  • Ok, great. Could you share with us what was the problem exactly and what your host did to sort it out?
  • not a clue!  The problem occurred after I'd downloaded the latest update.  I decided I wanted to try the "movie" demo, I deleted BeTheme and then re-installed, and went to install the demo and all that came up was a blank screen.  I tried a few more times with different demos, and got the same problem.  I'd never had that problem before; the first tech had the same issue and moved it up the ladder.  The second tech uploaded the 'lawyer' demo and didn't have an issue.

I do have another question, if I may:  I'm using either 'theater' or 'movie' demo, and I would like to put a video at the top instead of the revolution slider.  Can you tell me how I do that?  (I'm new to this stuff!).

    thank you!
  • Is it possible you can send us link to that blank page? Or if this blank screen appears only after you try to upload the pre-made layout, you need to contact with your admin/hosting provider because more details about this behave should be stored in server logs.

To put the video at the top instead of slider, you need to set the video as section's background.
  • The page that came up blank is the same page that you choose the demo.  When finished successfully, it says "All done.  Have fun!"

It's been working since my site host fixed it.  If it occurs again, I'll let you know.  Thanks for info on the section/video!
  • hi,
i am facing the same problem..I have tried a lot for the solution, but hasn't got any. Its showing a blank screen when i try to upload demo data into the wordpress
  • Hi @zeronix_mediaweb,

there is 3 possible reasons why Muffin Options might be empty on load (blank):

    - PHP version - Wordpress, since version 4.5, requires minimum PHP 5.6. So if your version is older than 5.6, you need to contact with your admin/hosting provider because it need to be updated.
    - Memory Limit - the more plugins you have enabled, the more resources your WordPress instance will consume. So if this is happening, you need to contact with your admin/hosting provider to increase this limit.
    - Suhosin extension - if it’s installed on your server, it could bring the issues as well because the limits for Suhosin are usually different from the general one.

If you don’t know what your limit/PHP version is, you can check both under Appearance > System Status section.

    Thanks!
