Help with blog background

I am creating a website using the firm demo, i added a blog, anyway the single blog posts are rendered on the employees image.

If i put a background colo (as an example white) to the wrap i can improve how the blog content is displayed but still the header part and the comments are not ok as you can see here: http://pasteboard.co/eUB7xCsPu.png

please suggest me what i have to do to give to the full blog post a white background, i did not find an option in the theme options.

Hi,

what you need to do is disable transparency for necessary sections under Theme options > Global > General section.

This works, but if i make any section non transparent all my website changes. Isn't there a way to impvoe readabiity of the blog only?

What you mean? Set individual background color for post pages only?

Yes, I would like a custom background image (or color) for the full blog page, because now the background is the befirm is notkground image http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/firm/ that is not ok.

How to achieve that?

We sorted it out already and the update with this fixed effect for Chrome browser would be ready tomorrow so we would be grateful if you can wait till tomorrow and then do the update of theme to make the background fixed as it works in other browsers.

I also need help with this. I didn' t see a difference in any browser yet.

Is there CSS to target all blog pages with this:

element.style {

background-color: white;

}

I would like to hear from you.

@francescofaleschini Like we wrote above, we don't know when we would be able to add this feature and we had hundreds different features and fixes that need to be done first.

Thanks for the prompt reply. It is clear to me that you have many requests, i was just asking whteher you already implemented it, may be i could ask which could be the official name for this feature like "allow to remove background image on blog only"?

If you mean fixed background position, then yes, it has been already fixed. We mean fixed background effect you can see on http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/firm/

Before the background was cut and sometimes was jumping in a weird manner.

Has this issue been resolved? The Firm theme is great but I can't use it because of this issue. Basically a blog can't be used with this theme because the text on the page is not readable with the staff photo as the background.

Surely there is a way to control the background on individual pages not just a global setting to disable it from all content.

Is this the same for all bethemes?

Basically the blog post title goes on transparent background resulting in a non readable text.

Ok, so to set fixed background for single post, please use the following custom css:

.single-post #Content { background: #FFF !important; }

This seems a perfect solution, Thanks a lot. Handling this with custom css is very good. Likley i did not express my self correectly at the beginning of this thread because the css you gave me would have been also a good "first reply".
