All post comments appearing on all Buddypress pages (/members, /register, /activate, profiles...)

Hi,

Seems like all comments left on any post are appearing at the bottom of all buddy press pages, for example:

http://sbc2017.wpengine.com/members

http://sbc2017.wpengine.com/register

http://sbc2017.wpengine.com/members/skybridgeclub

I have disabled comments on those particular pages, but existing and new comments still end up appearing there.

Have you come across this? How can I fix?

I tried adding this for the individual page in the custom CSS

.page-id-55 #comments { display: none; }

and that doesn't work either.

Hi,

please disable comments under Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog section and hope this would help you.

Thanks for the attn, but doing that disables commenting on all posts which we need. We just don't want all the accumulated comments from also displaying on all the bp pages.

Though I will want to reactive comments in Theme options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog , you can also see that having it off doesn't hide any existing comments from bp pages : http://sbc2017.wpengine.com/members

What else can be done from making sure the comments don't load or display on bp pages?

If the option we gave you does not fit to your needs, you need to use custom css to disable comments from above pages:

.buddypress .section-page-comments { display: none !important; }
