Adding Social (Instagram Icon)

Hello,

I would like to add an Instagram icon to the Footer, I have added the relevant link to the Muffin Options Social section, however I cannot see how to include it in the footer. Currently there is only text in the footer.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

from what we see, you did hide footer social with custom css under Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section. Highlighted line on the following screenshot http://pasteboard.co/aX4UOJnvS.png is the code responsible for hiding social icons.

If you do this, you need to use an extra css as well to change social icon color because current color is the same as background:

#Footer .footer_copy .social li a { color: #000 !important; }

Thank you for your reply. I have added the CSS and changed the colour, however I still cannot see an ikon. Do I need to do something other than add the link in Options?

You still do not see the icons because you did not removed the line we presented you above on the screenshot.

I've just used FTP to change the css, as it did not work via the Options in WP.

Please ignore my last message and consider this issue solved.
