Possible to ignore / override slider padding on mobile?

Hi,

My problem is that the slider sits behind the top menu bar. This can be easily fixed by setting the top margin of the slider to 90px (the height of my menu), however when viewed in portrait on a mobile device, the menu switches to the mobile menu, but the slider still applies the 90px margin, showing a 90px blank space above the slider.

Is it possible to set different margins for desktop and mobile styles?

Or is there a setting I haven't spotted that forces the slider to start below the menu rather than behind it?

Thanks in advance.
